Dawn was born in the Midwest and educated in the Southwest, West, and Midwest. She has been a small animal practitioner for over 25 years. She was trained in mixed animal medicine and enjoyed externships in both small animal, large animal, and zoo animal medicine. As a child, Dawn wanted to save every animal. As an adult, she wanted to be an integral part of maintaining the health of her patients throughout their lives. She currently has two dogs. Dawn likes to read and cross-stitch in her downtime. She loves eating sushi!
