Dr. Kate McGrew

Kate is from Silver Spring, Maryland. She started out as a wildlife biologist working mostly with waterfowl, but she has always had a passion for companion animals as well. She has treated all sorts of critters, from bald eagles to bobcats and penguins. Time and time again, Kate has witnessed the incredible gift of the human-animal bond. Her goal is to give back to the animal community that has brought us so much joy, loyalty, and companionship. Kate has two dogs named Daisy and Naga, brother cats named Chester and Boba Cheddah, and a bearded dragon named Gizmo. Kate's favorite food is Maryland blue crab cakes, and her hobbies are hiking/backpacking with my dogs, traveling, and yoga.
